Upgrading Tabulizer for Joomla 4.x

If you upgrade your Joomla versions from 3.x to 4.x it is possible that Tabulizer will give some errors or warning, due to the fact that there are two separate Tabulizer versions one for Joomla 3.x and another one for Joomla 4.x.

Therefore, after upgrading your Joomla installation to version 4.x. you will also need to upgrade your Tabulizer to a release that's compatible with Joomla 4.x.
The first step is to login into your account at www.tabulizer.com and then go to the Download -> Tabulizer for Joomla page. Download the distribution file (tabulizer_UNZIPME.zip) first on your local disk and locate under the subfolder joomla4.x the installation file com_tabulizer.zip.
If that's not possible, because you don't have access to the backend side of your Joomla 4.x site, due to the errors, you can still upload the files using an FTP client. More specifically, you need to unzip the com_tabulizer.zip file locally and upload the contained folders using the following map as your reference:
  • [uncompressed com_tabulizer.zip]/admin  → {joomla root directory}/administrator/components/com_tabulizer
  • [uncompressed com_tabulizer.zip]/site  → {joomla root directory}/components/com_tabulizer
  • [uncompressed com_tabulizer.zip]/plugins  → {joomla root directory}/plugins
